We offer a flexible learning programme that acknowledges the importance of minimising disruption to your business operations. It allows your employees to participate without needing to be absent from work extensively. 

Our carefully designed format incorporates a blend of classroom sessions, interactive workshops, workplace coaching, enlightening masterclass sessions facilitated by subject matter experts, and convenient live and online sessions. 

This way, your employees can acquire new knowledge and skills while still actively contributing to the smooth running of your business.

Delegates on the course should expect to commit a total of 65-70 learning hours roughly over 10 weeks:

  • 24 hours of this is during a four-day block delivery at the Advanced Manufacturing Training Centre (Coventry) in week five
  • 10 hours will take place the employer’s site throughout the course of the programme, coinciding with the delegates normal working pattern
  • The self-study element of the course will be managed and directed by MTC Training, but will require the delegate to utilise and manage the learning. The average week is expected to consist of approximately three-six hours of self-study, including:
    • Online learning
    • Remote online
    • Live, virtual sessions

Please note, not every week will require self-study.

Skills bootcamps are flexible courses for up to 10 weeks, giving people the opportunity to build up sector-specific skills and fast-track to an interview with an employer.

Eligibility criteria

  • Delegates must be employees of manufacturers who reside in the West Midlands region or who are employed by a business in the West Midlands region

  • Delegates are to be responsible for the process or people in the workplace whereby the efficiencies will be made
