Skills Bootcamp Manufacturing Efficiency - MTC Training

Designed to improve the productivity and efficiency of manufacturing organisations, this Skills Bootcamp is exclusively available to businesses in the West Midlands.

It is open to leaders and managers looking to upskill and optimise their organisation’s processes and output.

We are also delighted to share that spaces on our first four cohorts are completely FREE for any delegates from an SME, as part of our partnership with Lloyds Bank. We have limited spaces available on these cohorts starting from September through to November.

The 16-week programme includes an extensive analysis of delegates’ existing businesses where our experts come to you to identify current and future opportunities.

Delegates examine the strengths and challenges facing their business and how they impact the organisation’s ability to execute strategy and become more profitable.

Learners will also benefit from personal development modules where they will have the opportunity to enhance their leadership and management skills to further drive productivity and efficiency throughout your organisation.

By the end of the course, participants will be able to:

Analyse and improve their organisation’s ability to execute on strategy
Develop a stronger leadership team
Achieve profitable, sustainable growth

We offer a flexible learning programme that acknowledges the importance of minimising disruption to your business operations. It allows your employees to participate without needing to be absent from work extensively.

Our carefully designed format incorporates a blend of classroom sessions, interactive workshops, workplace coaching, enlightening masterclass sessions facilitated by subject matter experts, and convenient live and online sessions.

This way, your employees can acquire new knowledge and skills while still actively contributing to the smooth running of your business.

Delegates on the course should expect to commit a total of 65-70 learning hours roughly over 16 weeks:

24 hours of this is during a four-day block delivery at the Advanced Manufacturing Training Centre (Coventry) in week five
10 hours will take place the employer’s site throughout the course of the programme, coinciding with the delegates normal working pattern
The self-study element of the course will be managed and directed by MTC Training, but will require the delegate to utilise and manage the learning. The average week is expected to consist of approximately three-six hours of self-study, including:
- Online learning
- Remote online
- Live, virtual sessions

Please note, not every week will require self-study.

About the Skills Bootcamp

Skills bootcamps are free, flexible courses for up to 16 weeks, giving people the opportunity to build up sector-specific skills and fast-track to an interview with an employer.

Our Skills Bootcamp has been created to enable leaders and senior managers to improve productivity within your manufacturing business. Delivered by MTC Training experts, the 16-week Skills programme gives learners the tools to gain a comprehensive understanding of your business strengths and challenges and how this impacts the ability to execute your strategy and become more profitable.

A senior member of the team will visit your facility and conduct a tour of your business’s operations to obtain an initial understanding of the challenges faced, before providing guidance on the best route forward to improve business efficiency on technology and behaviours.

Eligibility criteria

Employees must be 19+
Delegates must be employees of manufacturers who reside in the West Midlands region or who are employed by a business in the West Midlands region
Delegates and employer must accept commitment to finish to the programme
Delegates are to be responsible for the process or people in the workplace whereby the efficiencies will be made
